The 90s which are still kicking today, and the hand held Nintendo game boy. I loved the game boy; it was the best thing in the world for parents going on vacation or any ride in a car that was more than an hour long rc flying shark with their children, it kept my kids quiet for hours. It stopped the; are we there yet, how long before we stop to eat and I have to go to the bathroom just because they saw a sign that said restrooms. I even took my son to meetings with me and he sat there with the volume down playing Nintendo game boy. It was worth every dime I spent on it. Even air swimmers though my children are grown I still have trivial pursuit and Scrabble in my closet along with a few other games that we break out with on Holidays or just days that were sitting around visiting. My girls were always happier when they were talking on the phone or hanging out with their friends but my son spent many hours with video games and skate boarding. My mother when we visit her still likes to get out the yahtzee game and play it.There were lots of happy times sitting at the table playing games or playing video games with my kids. I think my son might still try to cheat at games sometimes but I think every boy does that in his life. We just started buying board games and puzzles for my grandson and RC Air Swimmers hes also started playing video games. A whole generation later the people change but the games are the same just made from cheaper materials.
